Dance Progression Checker
Are you working through the notation for a dance and are unsure if the progression is right? Run this program and enter the dancers' positions after the first turn. For example with a 6 couple set where the first couple have got to the bottom of the set, the positions after the first turn are 234561. Enter this sequence (followed by 'RETURN') into the program and it will tell you if the progression is legitimate. Click 'Go!' to run the program

Make a Dictionary of your MIDI tunes and search for the one you just heard being played
Do you get a tune running around your head but you can't think of its name? You're sure you've met it before but which one is it? You can remember how the tune starts but not what key it should be in - and certainly not what it's called. These tools allows you to make a dictionary of all your tunes held in MIDI format, then by typing in a simple representation of the start of the tune, the search engine identifies the tune for you and makes a copy of it, ready for you to play, print or arrange.
