The book 'Play In The Band' is a collection of well-known traditional tunes for barn dances and ceilidhs. The CD contains approximately one quarter of the tunes in the book (32 tracks). Each CD track comprises 4 bars of introduction, followed by three times the tune exactly as printed, including all repeats. It should be noted that in general the CD tracks are too slow to be used at Barn Dances, since they are designed as an accompaniment for less experienced players.
